The Interview is the second episode of the British sitcom Peep Show. It aired on September 26, Lines in parentheses indicate internal monologues spoken by the characters via voice-over.
Gerhardt had previously worked in a meat market and locker plant in Arlington, Minnesota giving him the experience to provide custom processing for the area farmers. At that time, the building was comprised of a smokehouse, production area, a foot meat counter and the apartment where Gerhardt and Esther lived and raised their two sons. While their primary focus was custom processing, they steadily grew the retail business.
Eventually — and to the minds of its devoted followers, lamentably — Mark and Jeremy had to move on. These were the exquisitely pathetic London flatmates at the centre of Peep Showa gloriously comedy about individual perspective devoid of self-insight. Why would it?
One of the main problems is that the two main characters, Mark and Jeremy, are getting older. They have been in their thirties for some time, though largely act like they remain in their twenties. This might have washed for a couple of series, but, as in other long-running and successful comedy series, I think now is the time to let them grow up a bit and let their relationships mature — especially Mark.
Of course, when one chap has eaten a dead dog and the other had the most painful wedding of all time, no one really wins but still I just wanted an excuse to watch my Peep Show boxset again really. This is the sort of thing people do when they're having a good time.
The best comedy series of all time has commenced its final hurrah, bringing Mark and Jez back into our lives for some inevitable mishaps, incredible one-liners and awkward encounters. The show has produced some of the best lines that have ever been uttered on TV, from the utterly tragic to the painfully cringeworthy, and always with a healthy dose of sarcastic, witty, dry humour. So without further ado, here are some of our absolute favourites but we really could carry on forever ….
Time and time again, the El Dude Brothers find ways to ruin their lives in their pursuit of love, money, and stability. If Mark ends a season on a high, it usually follows with Jez ending the series on a low. Occasionally, both flatmates will suffer equally, but Peep Show has an ebb and flow that always keeps the series fresh. That said, no show is without sin and Peep Show is no exception.
